Saddle Condition

Description

New

Saddle is brand new; has never been ridden in.

Like New

Saddle is still new; has only been used for demos or lightly tried by its previous owner. May show slight signs of very light use and marks from the stirrup leathers, but there are no discolorations, nicks or scratches, or any other flaws. Or this saddle has gone to repair and received a new seat, skirt, and flaps.

Used - Excellent

Saddle has been used but shows only light use. There are no nicks, scratches, discolorations, rips, tears, etc. Billets are strong and not stretched, flaps are not flimsy, stitching is all intact. Saddle has been extremely well cared for. 

Used - Very Good

Saddle has been used but has been very well cared for. There may be one or two minor flaws that are not very noticeable. The flaps are not flimsy, the stitching is all intact, the billets are strong and not stretched.

Used - Good

Saddle shows signs of moderate use. There may be slight flaws, including minor scratches or nicks, small discolorations. The flaps are well broken in and stitching is mostly intact. Saddle has been well cared for.

Used - Fair

Saddle shows signs of heavy use. It is structurally sound and can be used as is, however there may be cosmetic flaws, including nicks, scratches, or discolorations. The billets may be stretched, but remain sturdy. Flaps are well broken in. Saddle may show signs of rain spots or other flaws that do not compromise the structure of the saddle.
